Hindu religious programme held mark 68th Navy Day

A Hindu religious programme to invoke blessings on the Sri Lanka Navy’s 68th anniversary which fell ysterday, was held at the Shri Ponnambalawaneswaram Kovil in Colombo recently. During the religious event, blessings were showered upon the Navy and all naval personnel. Commander Western Naval Area Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenna, Director General Civil Engineering Rear Admiral Susil Senadeera, Director General Engineering Rear Admiral Raveendra Ranasinghe, senior and junior officers and large number of sailors from the Western Naval Command were also present on this occasion.
