KPMG to present on intricacies of tax on financial services
KPMG has organised a presentation on intricacies of tax on financial services, to be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Movenpick Hotel, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Financial services is one of the tax industries burned with various taxes. Other than income tax at the rate of 28 percent, there are many vibrant indirect taxes that apply to financial services.
The presentation will enlighten the audience on the indirect taxes that are imposed on financial services, including the recently introduced debt repayment levy.
The presentation will cover taxes such as VAT, NBT, Debt Repayment Levy, Crop Insurance Levy.
The presenters will discuss the scope of each tax, what financial services are liable for tax, concept of value addition, four methods of calculating value addition, making payments, filing return, value addition statements, etc.
