New European itineraries
Trafalgar has introduced four new European itineraries in 2019:
Best of Poland (11 days) is Trafalgar’s very first dedicated Poland itinerary, visiting top cities Warsaw, Gdansk, Torun, Wroclaw, Zakopane, Krakow and Czestochowa. This is the perfect trip for history lovers with included visits to Warsaw Old Town, Unesco-listed Torun and Auschwitz concentration camp. Guests will also visit The Living Museum of Gingerbread in Torun where they prepare dough and bake their own gingerbreads in the Medieval Bakery.
Treasures of Spain and Portugal (14 days) combine the iconic cities of Lisbon, Porto, Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. Discover the cultural icons and visit the famous Santiago de Compostela where thousands of people travel to each year to attempt a life-changing pilgrimage. The trip also visits Fatima and guests will have a chance to savour the flavours of Portugal’s famous port wines.
Best of Croatia and Slovenia (11 days) is a shorter duration itinerary covering the highlights of these two trending Eastern European destinations. The new trip explores a brand-new region, the Istrian Peninsula and one of Croatia’s most picturesque destinations, Rovinij.
Shamrocks and Leprechauns
(10 days) is Trafalgar’s brand-new family itinerary through Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, packed with activities that appeal to all ages and allow families time to bond, including visits to the home of the last-remaining leprechauns, an archery class at Winterfell Castle, a sheep farm on the Wild Atlantic Way and the Flying Boat Museum.
