AAT Sri Lanka – bags 3 awards in NBEA the unbeatable leader in professional education
At the 15th National Business Excellence Awards (NBEA) held on 5th December at Hilton Hotel, Colombo, The Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka ( A AT S r i L a n k a ) r e c e i v e d 0 3 m a j o r awards namely the “Gold award in the Associations & Societies Sector”, “1st Runner Up (Silver) for the Medium Business Category” and a “Merit award for the Excellence for the Local Market Reach”. This is the 6th consecutive year that AAT Sri Lanka secured the prestigious Gold award in the Associations & Societies Sector with its incessant winning trend. AAT Sri Lanka was the only Professional Organization to grab 03 awards at this ceremony under diverse categories proving its overall excellence in the professional arena in the country.
NBEA is an annual event organized by the National Chamber of Commerce to recognize business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business and, over the years it has gained a high reputation and recognition amongst the business community due to its high standard and professionalism. The multiple awards to AAT Sri Lanka have been awarded after a critical evaluation of the overall performance of the Association. Enterprises were evaluated under a newly structured evaluation model of 7 perspectives, which were - Excellence in Leadership, Excellence in Corporate Governance, Excellence in Capacity Building, Excellence in Performance Management, Excellence in Local and Global Market Reach, Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability and Excellence in Business and Financial Results.
With global recognitions from International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and Confederation of Asia Pacific Accountants (CAPA), AAT Sri Lanka today is on a promising journey towards being the most recognized qualification for the middle level accounting professionals in Sri Lanka.
