Seven women arrested in Mt. Lavinia brothel raid

Seven women including the manageress had been arrested on Saturday evening for allegedly operating a brothel under the guise of a spa on the Galle Road in Mount Lavinia, Police said.

Police said that the women, aged between 18 and 39 were identified as residents of Mathugama, Elpitiya, Peradeniya, Opatha, Hali-ela, Gampaha and Kalutara. They were to be produced in the Mount Lavinia Magistrate’s Court.
