ACCORDING TO MATTHEW crosses 50th-day mark

Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Chandran Rutnam’s much hyped, controversial movie ‘According to Matthew’ crossed its 50th-day landmark last Friday. The film which grossed Rs. 36 million in the 50 days will be screened till January 17 in the opening theatres, but will continue to be screened at Regal Colombo, MC Colombo and a few other centres as a limited engagement with 4 pm screenings. Globally renowned stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Alston Koch play the key roles in the movie based on a true story of sexual abuse, exorcism and murder. The movie is produced by Taprobane Pictures in association with Ceylon Theatres Ltd.
