Garment factory manager dies in head-on collision

The manager of a garment factory died on the spot when the vehicle driven by him collided head-on with a private bus at Wadigala in Ranna on the Matara-kataragama road. The victim Mudin Prasanna (33) of Kahandawa in Ranna (33) was a father of one.

He had been employed as manager of a garment factory in Monaragala and joined a garment factory in the Ranna area just three days ago. Police said they were conducting investigations into his death.

The driver of the Matara bound bus from Tissamaharama involved in the accident was taken into custody by police pending further action. A police team under OIC Traffic, Hungama Police IP Deshapriya Pathirana is conducting further investigations.
