iDiscover Colombo was officially launched recently at the Dutch Hospital Courtyard 2 in Fort in the presence of Honourable

Mayoress Rosy Senanayake and Joanne Doornewaard, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

idiscover presented four handcrafted itineraries in Colombo's most historic neighbourhoods: Fort, Pettah, Cinnamon Gardens and Slave Island. The guides come as a set of beautifully illustrated maps, an exclusive storybook and a free navigational app introducing over 100 sites to see, eat, drink and shop that bring local cultural heritage to life! A true community effort, this neighbourhood guide is a collaboration of i-discover App&map and Colombo Heritage Collective, a newly established initiative spearheaded by Colombo based hospitality group Cantaloupe Hotels and PWA Architects. The project is supported by #Heritagehandson, the Shared Cultural Heritage Fund of Dutch Culture centre for international cooperation and Cathay Pacific.
