CHITRAL’S LALITHAKALA CONCERT ON SUNDAY

As Chitral ‘Chity’ Somapala whose tuneful music career crosses 35 years, he will for the first time present a grand live in concert titled ‘Lalithakala’ at the BMICH on Sunday February 10 at 7 pm, bringing back golden memories of his parents legendary singers P. L. A. Somapala and Chitra Somapala. 70% of the lineup will include evergreen golden hits of his parents with the rest made up of Chitral’s originals, all backed by acoustic musical treatment. The Lalithakala concert presented by DK Promotions, will be compered by veteran Kelum Srimal while the orchestra will be headed by Mahinda Bandara. Umara Sinhawansa will join Chitral making a very special guest appearance.
