St. Sebastian’s record innings win

St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa recorded an innings and four-run win over St. Mary’s College, Kegalle in their Under-19 InterSchoo­ls Cricket Tournament encounter which concluded at Kurunegala yesterday.

Meanwhile, Dharmasoka MV, Ambalangod­a recorded an easy first innings win over D. S. Senanayake (DSS) College in their match which ended at Mattegoda.

At Kurunegala (St. Sebastian’s won by innings and four runs)

St. Sebastian’s: 222

St. Mary’s: 61 and (1/0 overnight) 157 (Gajitha Kotuwegoda 41, Gehan Abeywarden­a 30, Nadeera Fernando 4/21, Vinuja Ranasinghe 3/39).

At Mattegoda (1st innings win for Dharmasoka MV, Ambalangod­a)

DSS: 71 and 267/9 declared (Muditha Lakshan 62, Amitha Dabare 43, Pasindu Adithya 32, Lohan de Silva 4/71, Dinuka Dilshan 3/69) Dharmasoka MV (111/5 overnight): 164 (Kavindu Nadeeshan 52, Dinuka Dilshan 44, Muditha Lakshan 4/39) and 58/2.

At Debarawewa (Sri Dharmaloka MV, Kelaniya won by innings and 60 runs)
