The Know-alls

All of us come across Know-alls in our daily lives. If not, at some time we have met Mr. and Mrs. Know-all either at a function or a party or a funeral or any other place where people gather. It is easy to spot them as they will be airing out their opinion loudly to be heard by those around them. Mr. and Mrs. Know-alls know it all when it comes to fashion, food, interior decor, service, architecture, flower arrangement, politics, real estate etc. The list is endless. They will try to teach professionals their jobs and happily sit anywhere where somebody is willing to give them an ear on whatever pet subject they are on.

Recently at a dinner Trixie had had the pleasure of being seated next to a woman who seemed to be dissatisfied about everything with the dinner. The woman never stopped whining and Trixie wanted to lace her a thundering slap in order to get this woman back to earth and to shut her up. Trixie stated, “if you feel something is wrong, and it is not with your own close family, shut your mouth and just avoid whatever annoys you. After all, the world is a large place. It is not only that, they just want to show off that they have seen it all and know what is perfect.” Dolores who was seated on the other side of Trixie whispered to her how she was invited to a dinner at Mrs. Know-all's home, which was completely awful. The dinner had matched the home's set up, which was as ugly as her personality. Dolores had gone on to say that it is either those who know the least who wish to be domineering or the nouveau riche who have just come into a lot of money.

I guess we cannot get rid of such types from this world and they will always exist around us. The only option is to keep away from such disgruntle types as all they do is to get your pressure up and hand itching to lace them a thundering slap.
