Ex Navy personnel residing in Jaffna meet Navy Chief

A group of retired Navy personnel residing in the Jaffna area met Navy Commander Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva who was on a two day visit to the Northern Naval Command, at the Navy House in SLNS Uthtara recently.

During the cordial gathering, the ex navy personnel extended their best wishes to Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva for his appointment as the 23rd Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy. To signify this occasion, ex navy personnel were also presented with gifts by the Commander of the Navy. The spouses of ex navy personnel, Commander Northern Naval Area Rear Admiral Meril Wickramasinghe, Deputy Area Commander NNA Commodore Nilantha Heenatigala and Command Land Operations Officer (North) & Public Relations Officer (North) Commander Sanjeewa Kodikara were also present on this occasion.
