The newest technology

-

An artiste took his child to a private hospital to get a blood test as the girl was down with fever for a few days. The hospital authorities had said the report would be ready the following day. On his way to attend to some work the artiste had called over at the hospital the next morning, but the report had not been ready. He had then called his wife at home and asked her to collect the report in the afternoon. The wife had gone to the relevant hospital counter and only mentioned the name of her husband. The lady manning the counter had instantly mentioned her husband’s phone number and asked if she was his wife. The wife was stunned. She collected the report and called her husband to ask how the lady knew his phone number by heart. “Today technology is so advanced and sophisticated. Who knows this hospital may be having a new system of identifying the husband’s phone number when the wife calls over at the counter,” he had said.
