Pannipitiya Private Hospital launches new mobile medical, laboratory services

-

Pannipitiya Private Hospital, which is one of the leading private hospitals, has taken yet another step forward and introduced round-the-clock mobile medical and laboratory services.

To obtain this service, that is launched with the objective of providing alleviation to patients in case of emergency or difficulty travelling to the hospital, patients need only pay the additional costs of travelling, said Pannipitiya Private Hospital Chairman and Managing Director Ananda Kuruppuarachchi.

Accordingly, once the hospital is informed that a patient requires the mobile medical service, the hospital will take the necessary action to dispatch an ambulance carrying an experienced doctor alongside two nurses to the patient’s home.

Obtaining laboratory samples of nearby residents from their home and supplying test results with no additional cost is another service that is offered by Pannipitiya Private Hospital.

Pannipitiya Private Hospital, which supplies laboratory test reports in the most accurate and reliable way possible, while offering the most affordable prices in Sri Lanka, also facilitates the prompt posting of reports through email if required. The mobile medical and laboratory services can be received by informing the hospital through its hotlines.

“In the event where a patient finds it difficult to travel to a hospital when in need of medical treatment or laboratory services, he/she will be rendered helpless. This situation is even more dangerous in the face of an emergency. In such a circumstance, a majority find it difficult to spend a fortune to have a doctor or a laboratory technician visit their home in order to receive treatment or laboratory reports. It is by taking into consideration the issues that patients go through in these situations that our hospital decided to introduce these mobile medical and laboratory service facilities, while additionally charging only the costs of travelling.

Granting even those benefits that are gained by eliminating the unnecessary costs to our patients, our hospital confers this facility as yet another service that we provide by setting aside our profit-oriented goals,” said Kuruppuarachchi.
