CIMA to hold centenary event for banking and finance industry members
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Sri Lanka will be organising a series of member development events during this centenary year to celebrate the CIMA members in diverse industries.
The initial event titled ‘Banking & Finance – Technological Advancements: Opportunities and Challenges’ will be held on March 12, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the CIMA auditorium, Colombo 5.
The session will include presentations followed by a panel discussion with eminent personalities. The presentation on ‘Global technological advancement trends in banking and finance and opportunities for Sri Lanka’ will be delivered by N-able Managing Director and CEO Peter D’almeida while Sanasa Development Bank CEO Thilak Piyadigama will address ‘Technological developments in Sri Lankan banking and finance industry – opportunities realised and challenges faced’ in his presentation.
The panel session will be moderated by LOLC Group Group Chief Information Officer Conrad Dias FCMA, CGMA.
In addition to both speakers, Lanka Clear CEO Channa de Silva and Cargills Bank Chief Operating Officer/chief Information Officer Rohan Muttiah will join the panel discussion.
