‘Weli Pawuru’ a must watch family tale

‘Weli Pawuru’ – the newest movie produced by Dammika Athapattu and directed by Sunil Premaratne – will be the next attraction in the EAP circuit. Dhammika and Sunil combination which brought the commendable movie ‘Tawme Iskole’ recently, has gone a step forward to present ’Weli Pawuru’ which is another classic social friendly movie that focuses concern over the abuse of aged parents in today’s society. The media screening of the movie was held at the National Film Corporation Hall recently. Mahendra Perera, Dilhani Ekanayake, Kumara Thirimadura, Gayathri Dias, Hemasiri Liyanage, Surya Dayaruwan, Tharuka Wanniarachchi, Buwani Chapa Diyalagoda, Dhananji Tahruka, Harith Wasala, Charith Senanayake, Nilangani Perera, Jayantha Galagedara, Priyanthi Mangalika and others play the key roles in the movie. Sajith Weerapperuma has handled the cinematography, Darashana Wickramatunga the music direction, Tharanga Rukmalwala the make up, Suneth Rasanga the assistant direction while Upul Nishantha is the still photographer and media coordinator of the movie. Sunil Edirisinghe, Shashika Nisansala and Harshana Dissanayake are the playback singer while the lyrics were penned by Bandara Eheliyagoda, Ravi Siriwardana and Shamila Hussain.
