Dwindling water resources due to drought
Representatives of environment societies express fear of the danger of severe dwindle of natural sources of water from reservoirs, rivers, tanks and streams due to the long prevailing drought in estates area of the hill country.
Water level in all the major reservoirs and other water resources- rivers, streams and canals in the area are receding fast, environmentalists alert.
Most of the waterfalls in the hill country are fast waning while water beams cascading have already disappeared in many waterfalls.
