CHANDANA EKANAYAKE AWARDED WITH PRIDE OF SRI LANKA
Commissioner of Prisons (Rehabilitation) Chandana Ekanayake of the Department of Prisons has been conferred with the “Pride of Sri Lanka” award recently, by the Victorious foundation of Abdul Kalam service institution as a mark of appreciation, being strictly awarded amongst a few selected cosmopolitans in the World, who have valiantly been able to accomplish efficacious work towards the betterment of the humanity.
The fraternity of his combative behaviour has been embolden with proficiency through many diplomas, what he was able to complete, such as, a Higher Diploma in Sports, Diploma in Criminology, Diploma in Human Rights and Psychology, National Higher Diploma in Counselling and especially a scholar with a M.A. whereby he does provide the services as a visiting lecturer at the Sri Jayawardanapura University, in addition to his portfolio in the Department of Prisons as a Commissioner.
