Nisus Solutions reveals latest Odoo services to local market
Nisus Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd recently hosted an event to demonstrate the company’s offerings to the local market with its Belgium-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions provider partner company Odoo.
Established in Sri Lanka with the partnership of Danish IT development company VK Data
Aps in 2010, Nisus Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd was established as a Board of Investment project in 2008.
Nisus Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd Director and Chief Project Officer Shiraj Poojanath said that until 2015, the company has been solely serving the Scandinavian market with web-related services.
“But from 2015, we wanted to come to the local market, because with Odoo using Open Source software, there are big price differences placing us at a much more affordable position than out competitors, also considering the user-friendly factor,” Poojanath said.
Odoo is a suite of Open Source business apps that cover all company needs such as CRM, ecommerce, accounting, inventory, point of sale, project management and more. The company’s unique value proposition is to be at the same time very easy to use and fully integrated.
Nisus Solutions’ Danish counterpart, which only handles ERP solutions, is an Odoo Gold partner, with the Sri Lankan company being an Odoo Ready partner and both are run as one company.
“Even in Denmark, our mother company also uses only Odoo software,” Poojanath said, revealing that “we are going to show our very first implementation of Odoo V12 (Version 12), as we are the very first company to implement it since the new version’s release in October 2018”.
Meanwhile, Poojanath said that almost all of Nisus Solutions’ staff are trained by Odoo SA Belgium or Odoo India.
“With this level of international exposure, working for the Scandinavian market for eight years implementing web-related and ERP services, we know how to work with a foreign market. I myself was trained from Odoo Belgium and my developers were trained from Odoo India,” he said.he went on to note that they have their own hosting company in France and Denmark, specially optimised to host Odoo solutions and said that the company provides Odoo customisations in Sri Lanka.
“Without highly trained staff, we do the customisation for our customers and our partners as well. Not only do we do ERP solutions but also provide webrelated services.”
“So far, for the Scandinavian market and Sri Lankan market we have written over 335 modules and we are very strong with industries such as manufacturing, sale, retail, HR, finance and more,” he added.
