Two men pinned under earth mound, die
Two men who were pinned under a mound of earth at a construction site at Cemetery Road near Gannoruwa Royal College died on admission to Peradeniya Teaching Hospital. One of them was the owner of the building and the other a worker.
They were rushed to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital by the residents of the area only to be pronounced dead.
OIC Peradeniya Police CI Mahinda Kaldera conducted investigations.
