Stock of C-4 explosives recovered in Mannar

A stock of 12 kilos of C-4 explosives was recovered from a jungle area in the South Bar in Mannar by Mannar Police. A police team under OIC Mannar Police CI Ranjith Ratnayake carried out the raid on information from the public. The stock of explosives had been packed in four parcels. The stock of explosives was destroyed by the STF on a court order. Mannar Police are conducing further investigations.
