Alleged murder suspect arrested

The suspect wanted in connection with the killing of a manager of a holiday resort in Loolella in Agalawatta was arrested by Agalawatta Police.

He had assaulted the manager of the holiday resort Wilegoda Archchige Premadasa (74) with an iron rod during an altercation.

Matugama Magistrate who visited the scene and held the preliminary magisterial inquiry remanded the suspect.
