Release Ven. Gnanasara Thera without delay

UPFA MP Thilanga Sumathipala yesterday stressed the need to release Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera, who is in jail, without delay. He told Parliament that not only Sinhalese Buddhists but also moderate Muslims also called on his release. “No one paid attention to what Ven. Gnanasara Thera said rather than talking about how he said that”. The MP said Shariya University in the East should be declared as a defence university. He also said steps should be taken to use at least half of the money found from the terrorists to compensate the victims of the terror attack.
