Zaharan’s Finance Manager credited funds to university lecturer

It has been revealed that the Finance Manager of Mohammed Hashim Mohammed Zahran’s National Thawheed Jama’at (NTJ) had credited funds to a lecturer at Oluwil University.

This lecturer who is reported to have taught Arabic at the Oluwil University has been arrested by the police. Receipts have been found in the suspect’s possession according to police.

It had also been revealed that the suspect had been engaged in transactions worth millions through his bank account.

The suspects had told the police that he had received donations from foreigners that visited Sri Lanka from time to time. The police are conducting further investigations to determine as to whom the suspect had associated with in the recent past.
