CLARIFICATION

With reference to our front page story yesterday (10) with the heading ‘Oman Agrees to invest 30% in Mirijjawila Oil Refinery Project’ , Development Strategies and Internal Trade Minister Malik Samarawickreme clarifies that ‘the Oman Minister informed him that they will positively consider investing in the Oil Refinery Project after further evaluation’.

Minister Samarawickreme further said that the Silver Park Co. Ltd. will proceed with the project using their funds and bank funding.
