Q HOW DID THE PROPOSAL HAPPEN?

We dated for 7 years before getting engaged and we used to talk about marriage years before. I knew it was coming because

1) our discussions of timelines made it pretty clear and

2) we went ring shopping together.

Q IF THE PROPOSAL WAS A SURPRISE, ON A SCALE OF 10 HOW WELL DID IT GO?

It wasn’t a surprise because we were already aware of it since we both dated for so long and we knew when things were changing.
