Catholic schools remain closed

Catholic private schools continue to remain closed, according to the Archdiocese of Colombo.

Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith had allowed the Director of Catholic Schools Fr. Ivan Perera and the respective school principals to decide on a suitable date to re-open Catholic private schools after the Easter Sunday terror attacks.

A statement issued by the Cardinal Ranjith said the relevant parties would decide on the re-opening of schools.
