THE PASSING OF A DEAR FRIEND

The death of a friend is always difficult to take, and it was a shock to hear that a dear friend Bhadra Wijesena had passed away last week. She was one of those rare beautiful people, who never said an unkind word about anyone, was a good friend to me for several decades and was invariably the epitome of the style Queen image. Her daughters, Yali and Kalpana were with her when she died, she was a quiet serene influence in their lives and will be greatly missed by them and all her friends.
