Outside hand suspected in K’pitiya violence

Daily Mirror (Sri Lanka) - - EDITORIAL -

Sad to See Sri Lankans act like this

with the curfew, a shoot on sight order should have been issued. When minorities are in danger, the law is lenient on the mobs.

These selfish politicians don’t care about the country’s economy. It is the public who suffer.

Violence is in Sinhala Buddhist culture since 1956 and beyond if you take a look at history when the first riot by Don Carolis’s son took place during the time of British rule. It was such riots that created the LTTE to defend the Tamils.

We all know, who is behind these attacks. He is the man who does not want the country to be at peace.

Some of the main media broadcasts should also be blamed for telecasting biased news. No one speaks of speedy punishments for the criminals.
