UNP MUS­LIM MPS TO VOTE AGAINST NCM

UNP Mus­lim MPS have de­cided to vote against the no con­fi­dence mo­tion that have been brought against Min­is­ter Rishad Bathi­udeen.

UNP MP Mu­jibur Rahman told Daily Mir­ror that the Mus­lim MPS have de­cided to vote against the mo­tion.

“The mo­tion is a mean­ing­less one. Such mo­tions should be brought against MP Shan­tha Bandara who or­dered the is­sue of cop­per to a fac­tory owned by a Na­tional Thowheed Jama’ath mem­ber and oth­ers who led the bomb at­tacks,” he said.

Mean­while, the soli­tary UPFA Mus­lim Mem­ber Kadar Masthan said he will abide by the party stand when it comes to the mo­tion.
