TNA Vanni District MP to vote in favour of NCM

TNA Vanni District MP Charles Nirmalanathan yesterday said he had decided to vote in favour of the no confidence motion that have been brought against Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.

However, he said TNA as a party had not decided on an official stand on the motion.

“I have decided to vote in favour of the motion as per the request made by the people in my district,” he said.

Mr. Nirmalanathan is the fourth Catholic MP to decide to vote in favour of the motion. Three UNP MPS namely Hector Appuhamy, Dr. Kavinda Jayawardene and Niroshan Perera have already said they are likely to vote in favour of the motion.
