Muslims in Puttalam seek destruction of ISIS

A mass rally was held along the lagoon strip of the Colombo Face of Puttalam where more than 1,000 Muslims prayed to Gods seeking the destruction of ISIS terrorists.

Puttalam Mayor K.A. Baais together with the Muslims in a number of main mosques participated in this event.

Muslims who were walking to the lagoon strip after Jumma Prayers on Friday held a mass rally and protested against the ISIS.

They said as Muslims they hated the ISIS who were trying to destroy the country once again after a 30-year war.

They had been given security by SP J.A. Chandrasekera, HQI of Puttalam Police CI Anura Gunawardena and the Police Officers.
