Thilak Samarasing­he launches maiden stage play

Helamuthu Cultural Foundation Chairman and seasoned producer Thilak Samarasing­he recently started work on his maiden stage play ‘Bodima Maarai Siyalla Hamaarai’ with the blessings of Narahenpit­a Dharmayath­anaya Chief Incumbent Ven. Veteran actress Danushka Jayaratne who plays the boarding aunt says her character has a lot of playing and she hoped they could come up with a super production with the help of all artistes and crew members. “I play Angela who is a middle-aged woman but wants to look young. I am sure this will be a hit,” said Danushka.
