-

Aventude, the latest Sri Lankan-based digital transformation services company recently announced that it is entering into a strategic partnership with Infront Asia Pacific, an award winning pioneer regional specialist in cloud and data centre consulting in the APAC region for the past 10 years.

Aventude provides end-toend cloud implementations including cloud governance strategies, poly-cloud strategies, IOT and data analytics, cost-effective cloud architecture models, app modernisation and data governance.

The new strategic partnership between the two companies will help each to expand its services from strategic advisory services to infrastructure support and maintenance in all top cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google and Alibaba Cloud.

Infront Asia Pacific Regional Managing Director Raymond Chou said: “Infront is on a mission to improve the lives of IT professionals by being a trusted partner in digital transformation. Through our partnership with Aventude, we are able to better service our customers by providing more value in their cloud transformation journey in the areas of cloud readiness assessments, app modernisation and cloud Devops. We can offer all these services much better by bringing Aventude and Infront to work closer together in the region.”

The cloud market is growing rapidly. Gartner Inc, a well-known leading technology research and advisory company, forecasts worldwide public cloud revenue growth of 17.3 percent in 2019 to a total of US$206.2 billion, up from US$175.8 billion in 2018. In 2018, Gartner forecast that the market would grow by 21 percent, up from US$145.3 billion in 2017.

By 2022, Gartner expects that 90 percent of organisations purchasing public cloud Iaas will do so from service providers who provide integrated capabilities. Such demand in the market creates great opportunities for enterprise space for capable service providers.

Adding to his comments about the new partnership and future technology direction of the start-up tech company, Aventude CTO Thurupathan Vijayakumar said: “As a modern-day technology solutions provider and a specialist in cloud transformation space, we are delighted to partner with Infront who is well-established in the enterprise cloud infrastructure landscape. Today, enterprises demand offerings with more breadth and depth for their hybrid environments. Strategic initiatives such as digital transformation projects resulting in the adoption of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud fuel the growth of this market. The outcome of our partnership helps us to access a wider market in the region to provide our expertise with integrated Iaas, Paas and Saas offerings to drive enterprise cloud infrastructure adoption.”

Is the company that owns the website a true expert in their respective field? Online shopping websites have mushroomed over the years. However, the companies behind these sites often do not have strong industry experience in their respective fields, and are therefore ill-equipped to deal with arising consumer demands. Aim to use sites hosted by companies that already possess substantial history and experience in retail. For example, Buyabans.com is the digital retail channel of Abans, an organisation that boasts 50 years of experience in Sri Lanka’s home appliances and electronics industry.

Does the site provide legitimate products? The newest up and coming website may sound exciting
