I enjoy strolling around the Good Market on Saturday mornings. I pick up new books at reasonable prices, homemade Jaffna chillie powder, sometimes have a foot massage. Many of the regular stall holders and visitors were there, thankfully untouched by fear psychosis. It was also good to hear that The Galle

Face Hotel had full house for their Mother’s Day Tea and to hear from the Hilton that all restaurants will be fully operational from the 23rd May. Life has to go on, we are not the only place which has had Bomb Blasts or revenge attacks which were obviously organised in order to create chaos. The armed services are doing a magnificent job and spreading of false rumours and fear will only deter them. They need the co-operation of all citizens who love the country.
