BASE

-

My hairdresser and beautician is Sue and I won’t change, but my good friend Amithy asked me to meet a young hairdresser Aravinda Yatawarage

who she has gone to for several years. He was persuaded to make this his life’s role by his wife who was then his fiancée. He has come a long way since then and has his own salon with a silent partner, the investor, and his objective is to help talented young people develop their talent in this field by employing them. He has had experience at Crown, Chagall and Mosh and had training in Singapore with Tony and Guy.

A simple young man with a golden heart, helping others to achieve their dreams as he has done. His salon

‘Base’ is at Colombo City Centre. He has a staff of eight, has both local and expat clients who came while I was there. An admirable quality about him was that he spoke well of his former employers.
