MEATBALL STUFFED CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

Be still my beating heart, is it only me?... but the title of the above recipe has me buzzing with excitement. A bit dramatic you might say, but may I reiterate that there are MEATBALLS, CHEESE and GARLIC BREAD all in one dish, it does not get any cooler than that!!! In all seriousnes­s this is an incredibly easy dish to put together but still offer the necessary intrigue to leave your house guests in awe. Also a great dish for when you're watching the cricket, the kids have just come out of the pool or when you have your friends over for a ladies tete a tete at teatime. An any occasion dish, you simply have to give it a try to understand how amazing it is!

Ingredient­s

● 1 package small burger buns

● 1 lb. Lean ground beef or chicken ● 2 tablespoon­s butter melted ● 2 cloves garlic, minced ● 1 tablespoon chopped parsley ● 1 cup shredded mozzarella

● 1/2 cup parmesan

● 1 tablespoon dried oregano

● 1 tsp salt

● 1 tsp pepper

● 1 tablespoon olive oil

● 1 jar pasta sauce

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F

2. Cut a hole into the burger buns large enough for meatballs to fit on the top of each roll. 3. Add minced garlic and chopped parsley to melted butter. Brush the mixture to each roll. 4. Toast rolls in oven until golden brown, about 10 minutes. 5. Meanwhile, make meatballs. Put ground beef/ chicken, Parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper into a large bowl, mix until evenly distribute­d. You could even add some chopped green chilli if you prefer a bit of spice Roll 12 meatballs. 6. Heat olive oil in sauté pan on medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides and add jar of sauce.

7. Place each meatball and a tablespoon of sauce into bread hole, top with shredded mozzarella. 8. Place back in oven until cheese is melty. 9. Top with chopped parsley and enjoy!
