Cardinal Filoni at St. Anthony’s Shrine

His Eminence Fernando Cardinal Filoni, a Vatican Cardinal who is the Prefect of the Congregation of Evangelisation of People, yesterday laid the foundation stone for a proposed building at the St Anthony’s Shrine, one of the main terrorist targets on the Easter Sunday attack. The building is to be housed for the soup kitchen, where more than 200 needy people are provided free food, a museum and dining area of the church. Cardinal Filoni was accompanied by Archbishop of Colombo, Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith.
