Bathiudeen willing to resign from all positions if found guilty

What a joke.. If he found guilty, he doesn’t have to resign - he will end up in jail anyway.

PATRIOT -

Wow a man who wears so many hats. How to find another fellow like Bathiudeen and that explains why UNP supports him.

LAW -

We are at this point of time not looking at guilt about having no confidence in Bathiudeen. Guilty or not can be proven in a court of law. But now we see that there are enough and more allegations for the people to have no confidence in him. Therefore Parliament has to take a vote of no confidence.

SANDO -

The Wilpattu issue alone is adequate to chase him away.

If you are an honest politician, then you need to step down from your post, so the authorities can continue with their investigation against you without any political interference and influence. There is no smoke without fire.
