Fairtrade hosts 10th Annual General Meeting at Kandy Okray Hotel

The 10th consecutive Fairtrade Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on March 27, at the Okray Hotel, Kandy.

The 10 year anniversary was celebrated by gifting tokens of appreciation and plaques to the RPC Estates (Hired labour) and Small Produce Organisations (SPO).

At this meeting the activities undertaken with regard to implementation on basic principles of FLO in all member estates were reviewed and appreciated by the gathering.

Officials from Bangalore, CEO of FLO and South Asian Regional Manager attended this memorable event.

Also, there were many guest speakers who attended including the Chairperson of Chamber of Commerce and Ex-tea Commissioner.
