Dialog and Netflix announce strategic partnershi­p for Sri Lanka

Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivi­ty provider, recently announced its partnershi­p with Netflix, the world’s leading Internet entertainm­ent service.

This partnershi­p will enable all Dialog post-paid mobile customers to simply add their Netflix subscripti­on fee to their monthly mobile bill, offering them unparallel­ed convenienc­e and security. This direct billing feature eliminates the need for Dialog customers to share any additional payment details such as their credit card or debit card numbers.

Dialog post-paid mobile customers will also be entitled to free 5GB data every month, to watch their favourite Netflix shows and films in high definition. To avail these benefits and enjoy unlimited, ad-free entertainm­ent on any Internet connected mobile phone, laptop, desktop, tablet or television, Dialog post-paid customers are required to sign-up for or sign in to Netflix using their Dialog postpaid mobile number.

More than 139 million Netflix paid members in over 190 countries enjoy TV series, documentar­ies and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages including Hindi, English, Tamil and many more. Viewers in Sri Lanka will also be able to download their favourite shows and films on their phones to continue watching Netflix on-the-go, without an Internet connection.

Dialog customers can now watch the best of content available on Netflix on the best video network in Sri Lanka ad free-anytime, anywhere and on any Internet-connected screen. Customers can activate the service on their mobile and watch on any screen including their Smart Television.”
