Nipun, Kamil to lead SL Under-19
Nipun Dhananjaya of St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa and Kamil Mishara of Royal College, Colombo have been selected to lead the Sri Lanka Under-19 Teams against the visiting Pakistan Under-19 for the five-match Youth Limited Over Series which will get underway at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Hambantota tomorrow.
Nipun will lead the team in the first three ODI’S and Kamil will captain the fourth and fifth ODI matches.
Earlier, the two teams were to play two four-day matches and three ODI’S but the tour was postponed due to the Easter Sunday attacks.
These matches are being played in preparation for the forthcoming Under-19 ICC World Cup slotted to be played next year.
The matches will be played on May 26, May 28, May 31, June 2 and June 5.
