Sampath Bank holds Inter Branch/department Quiz 2019
Sampath Bank held the 29th edition of its annual Inter Branch/department Quiz Competition at Eagles’ Lakeside Banquet and Convention Hall, Attidiya recently.
Organised by the Sampath Bank Sports Club, the event was graced by Sampath Bank PLC Consumer Banking Senior Deputy General Manager Tharaka Ranwala, who is also the President of the Club. Several other members of the bank’s corporate management team, were also present at the event.
Over 170 teams comprising of almost 900 members of the Sampath Bank took part in five intense rounds of quizzing throughout the day.
The IT Systems (A Team) was crowned as the overall champions with the Corporate Finance Department emerging as the runners up. In the Outstation category, Team Mathugama emerged winners while Team Aluthgama was awarded runner up. In the Difficult station category team Ambalantota was the winner while Team Akuressa bagged runners up.
