Junior sailor married quarters opened at Dockyard in Trinco

Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Sumith Weerasinghe declared open two junior sailor married quarters at the Naval Dockyard in Trincomalee recently. After having given a facelift to two old buildings at the Naval Dockyard, the refurbished buildings named as ‘Waterloo 1’ and ‘Waterloo 2’ were given to 02 married junior sailors attached to the Eastern Naval Command.the Area Commander also gave away presents to the house recipients.the construction work of this project was undertaken by the Naval Civil Engineers.

This occasion was also attended by Deputy Area Commander –East, Commodore Upul De Silva, Departmental Heads of the Eastern Naval Command, senior officers, sailors and family members of beneficiaries.
