Damayantha Kuruppu’s DK Promotions is putting the show together. “It is with much difficulty that this show became a reality with prevailing travel warnings. Roy and his group who are from the UK were asked not to travel to Sri Lanka when they applied for their visas. I had to give a personal assurance for their security. Also with the support from Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau we were able to convince them to come and perform in Sri Lanka. All formalities have been finalized and they are now looking forward to perform in Sri Lanka on 5th June. Ticket sales, especially the VIP tickets have been encouraging since its release on May 22. The show is not just a musical but a special event to build confidence amongst the music loving public and also to assist the Tourist and entertainment industries which are going through one of its most turbulent times,” said Damayantha Kuruppu. Thus participation for this event becomes more a contribution rather than just entertainment added Damayantha.
