TWO ARRESTED WITH 126 KG OF KERALA CANNABIS

Two persons were arrested with 126 kg of Kerala cannabis, during a raid carried out on Sunday by a group of naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command at Udayapuram in Mannar, the Navy said yesterday. The suspects and the haul of cannabis were handed over to the Pesalai Police for onward legal action.

A haul of 233kg of Kerala cannabis was also seized along with two suspects by naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command during a patrol in the seas off Vethalaikarni on Saturday.
