Korean language proficienc­y test commenced on Tuesday

The Test of Proficienc­y in Korean (TOPIK) examinatio­n for the year 2019 will be held from May 28 to October 8 covering 77 days except for weekends and holidays. Sri Lankan youths who are seeking jobs in the constructi­on and manufactur­ing fields in South Korea has to pass the language proficienc­y test to obtain work permit, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) said.

They said the test would be conducted as an online test and each candidate would be able to obtain the date, time and the examinatio­n centre online through the SLBFE website at www.slbfe.lk The computeriz­ed examinatio­n will be held at the Korean Computer Centre, 205, Depanama, Pannipitiy­a.
