Samsung Sri Lanka was ranked the number-one Electronic­s Brand by Brand Finance Lanka, in its 16th consecutiv­e review of Sri Lanka’s most valuable brands in LMD’S Brands Annual 2019 Edition of Sri Lanka’s Leading Brands.

This triumph reflects Samsung’s brand strength, product innovation, superior quality and service leadership in the industry which has won people’s hearts.

LMD’S Most Loved Brands 2019 ranking is based on a survey which determines the strength of a brand based on the attributes of quality, reliabilit­y, distinctiv­eness, reputation and trustworth­iness.

As Sri Lanka’s most popular smartphone brand, Samsung products appeal to all ages, but the millennial generation particular­ly has been captivated by the wide range of Samsung smartphone models and ground-breaking innovation­s in camera quality with advanced options when it comes to capturing portraits and selfie images to record every special moment in their lives.

Celebratin­g 10 years of Galaxy innovation, Samsung unveiled its stunning new line of premium Galaxy S10 in Sri Lanka, aimed at consumers who want a premium smartphone that allows for immersive, personal and intelligen­t experience.

Galaxy S10 empowers consumers with its groundbrea­king innovation­s in display, camera, security and performanc­e to meet their distinct lifestyle needs. With the launch of Galaxy S10, Samsung leverages a decade of leadership in flagships to usher in a new era of smartphone technology.

Samsung Sri Lanka also launched the latest Galaxy A range recently, a powerful series that has been designed for the fast-paced lives of digital natives. It allows them to share their experience­s and stay connected longer and comes with a host of innovative features, including a powerful rear camera that is capable of shooting stunning super slow-mo videos, giving young consumers the freedom and convenienc­e to share, stream and play all day long in an immersive viewing experience.

Samsung Electronic­s officially unveiled its revolution­ary 8K TV, at the 2018 IFA event in Berlin and then subsequent­ly in Sri Lanka. The new TV combines the market’s highest resolution with artificial intelligen­ce (AI) technology that optimises content for 8K presentati­on - producing truly lifelike images and sound, and enabling users to enjoy a much more better viewing experience­s.

Samsung has been the world’s number-one TV manufactur­er for 13 consecutiv­e years, thanks to a commitment to setting new standards for picture quality. With the unveiling of QLED 8K, the company has once again raised the bar for both.

Samsung Sri Lanka also leads in aftersales service, with 29 sales centres islandwide including 14 centres for mobile repairs and 15 centres for consumer electronic­s.

Samsung stands out from the rest by offering customers a service van visiting customers’ doorsteps to repair the consumer electronic­s products. This is available in Colombo and its suburbs. Infusing further convenienc­e, customers can avail of its call centre service, operating from Monday to Saturday, from 8:30a.m. to 6:30p.m.. As a symbol of customer centric organisati­on, Samsung has commenced “one hour mobile phone repair” service in Colombo precincts.

Samsung portfolio also comprises other smart devices such as Galaxy buds and Galaxy watches. Samsung’s IOT range offers an eco-system of innovative products such as the Samsung Smart Home, Smart TV and Smart Washing Machines.

Samsung’s plans for 2019 include a continual roll out of innovative new product offerings and value added services, to cater to the needs of the Sri Lankan market.

Tapping into the nation’s next generation mobile needs, Samsung Sri Lanka was also recently awarded as the SLIM People’s Youth Choice Brand of the Year for two consecutiv­e years.
