Modi sworn in for 2nd term

The Indian Prime Minister- elect Narendra Modi was sworn in by President Ram Nath Kovind for a second term on Thursday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

President Maithripala Sirisena attended swearing in ceremony as a guest on an invitation extended by the Indian Prime Minister and posed for a photograph with Premier Modi and President Kovind.

President Sirisena extended his warm congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his victory at the Indian general elections.
