Navy nab two persons with 2.35 kgs of cannabis

A team of Naval personnel in coordination with the Police STF held two persons with 2.35kg of cannabis during a raid carried out in the Kanuketiya area in Hungama on Thursday (30), the Navy said.

A group of naval personnel attached to the Southern Naval Command in coordination with the Police STF, apprehended 2 persons who were transporting the haul of cannabis by car.

The arrested persons were residents of Hungama and were aged 56 and 31. The suspects, the haul of cannabis and the car were handed over to the Hungama Police for onward legal action.
